The Firm's health team focuses on the legal and strategic issues faced by pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. The firm's reimbursement work spans regulatory, transactional, legislative, medicare reform, health management and litigation matters.

Vassilis Avgerinos, who leads the team is a former Chairman of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Technology (IFET), where he worked extensively on matters relating to the work of the Health Care Financing Administration, now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS.
