Prodromos is the Head of the Intellectual Property, Information Law and eGovernment Department of AVGLaw. He is also the legal project lead for the Creative Commons -England and Wales (CC-EW) and Greece (CC-Greece) projects. He is a legal adviser for the National Documentation Center/ National Hellenic Research Foundation and the Hellenic Association of Academic Libraries. Prodromos has worked for the European Commission, Oxford and Oslo University, the Athens University of Economics and Business and the London School of Economics.
Prodromos is a lecturer in the Greek National School of Public Administration teaching the course “E-Government and Open Data Management”. Prodromos has worked as an adviser for the Greek Special Secretary for Digital Planning on legal issues in the areas of Culture, Education and Environment. He is also consulting various public sector organisations in Greece and the UK, such as the National Archives, the Academy of Athens, the Greek Free Open Source Foundation (GFOSS) and the National Cadastre Service.
He has been part of the legal team that drafted Law 3882/2010 transposing the INSPIRE Directive into Greek Law and is heading the licensing group in the LAPSI2 project for the implementation of the amended version of the Public Sector Information Directive.
